Administrative Assistant III- Library Services

The Administrative Assistant supports the Assistant Vice Provost of Library Services and the University Libraries department by managing key office administrative and operational activities. Serves as the liaison to operational departments on campus, such as Facilities, Strategic Sourcing, and Mail Services. Administers the departmental SharePoint site and maintains all files. Coordinates social media channels, assembles, and edits content for digital email newsletters, and disseminates news to other communication channels on campus.


Qualifications:

High school diploma required. Bachelor’s preferred.
6 years administrative experience required

  • Highly proficient using computer software, such as Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Experience or a strong interest in marketing and communications
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong human relations skills, ability to work collaboratively

Desired Qualifications:

  • Education or experience in communications or marketing
  • Experience using graphic design tools, such as Canva, and email marketing software, such as Emma
  • Experience supporting contracts or grants
