Job Summary | The Student Employment AAI is a key member of the Student Employment Team, assisting with the recruitment and onboarding process for hourly student employees. This includes: processing criminal background checks, initiating job offers, and verifying student documents for employment eligibility. The AAI will also manage the online applicant tracking system for part-time, on-campus job postings and off-campus Federal Work Study (FWS) job postings. Other related duties include activating and approving requests for supervisor accounts, maintaining and tracking student data and assisting with other responsibilities as assigned. |
Minimum Education and Experience | Bachelor’s degree and two years office administration or project management experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. |
Preferred Education and Experience | Bachelor’s degree with two years of related work experience in higher education. Basic knowledge of human resources recruitment, hiring, and on-boarding practices. |
Essential Duties and Responsibilities | This is the front-end of the student employment recruitment role which includes the main duties of:
Requires attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to meet strict deadlines. Must possess a high level of integrity and professionalism in working with highly sensitive data; be proactive in identifying and troubleshooting issues; be able to successfully complete tasks with minimum supervision; compose routine email correspondence; other duties as assigned. |

Additional Information | Remote Notice: After the probationary period, this role may be eligible for a hybrid (partly remote/partly in office) work schedule, subject to business need and manager approval. Must be located within the DFW Area and have the ability to be on campus with 24 hours of notice. A UT Dallas Remote Work Agreement will be required within 14 days after approval.
