The University of California, Merced is required to provide a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. It is not typical for an individual to be offered a salary at or near the top of the range for a position. Salary offers are determined based on final candidate qualifications and experience. The full salary range for this position is Step 1: $25.27- Step 17:$35.90. The budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position is STEP 1: $25.27. |

About the Job |

The Community and Labor Centers Administrative Assistant performs the center's administrative services. Working independently and with minimal supervision, the Administrative Assistant serves as the daily primary contact for the Executive Director and carries out the center's administrative vision. This includes administrative support for the Faculty Director, Executive Director, program directors, staff, affiliated faculty, students, and the community. The Administrative Assistant also arranges travel, reviews, processes invoices and reimbursements, and processes donations and income received. Manages administrative support for the center's meetings and events. Interfaces with the public, constituency groups, university faculty, staff, and students. Other duties and responsibilities are assigned as needed by the Executive Director. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
