Pitt-Bradford is looking for an Administrative Assistant for our Academic Success Center. This is a full time, 12-month position on the Pitt-Bradford campus. The Academic Success Center is an integral academic resource for our students, and provides comprehensive advising, tutoring, consultation, and academic coaching for at-risk students.


Requirements: Associate degree in office management and one to two-years’ experience or work-experience equivalency. Minimum of one year of experience working as an office assistant. Advanced computer literacy with spreadsheet and database experience. Ability to deal with multiple demands and numerous interruptions. Extreme attention to detail and editing skills.

Duties: Perform all clerical-administrative duties for the office according to university policies and procedures :

·         Analyzes and organizes office operations, interprets policies and procedures.

·         Compiles, stores, and retrieves operational data.

·         Prepares reports.

·         Assists the Academic Success and Advising Center team with completion of assigned duties/tasks.

·         Supports efforts made in increasing student retention.

·         Detailed note taking for each unit staff meeting.

Job Summary

Performs administrative assistant support work of moderate complexity.

Essential Functions 

·         Assists the Associate Dean – Academic Success and Advising in administrative support with all aspects of programs and services.

·         Coordinates and carries out all aspects of office management duties required both internally and externally.

·         Responsible for ACTC and AAC appointment scheduling software.

·         Assists with testing scheduling and accomidations.

Physical Effort 

Physical effort is minimal, but may be asked to lift 20# storage boxes periodically. Mobility to negotiate the campus is essential.
