POSITION PURPOSE
The School of Social Work seeks a full-time Administrative Assistant 3 with expertise in organizing and managing team workflow. Our team receives grants from multiple funders related to program evaluation in state and tribal child welfare systems.  Responsibilities of the position include project management support for five extramurally funded research programs funded by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Administration for Children and Families, Children’s Bureau that focus on intervention studies being conducted in state and tribal child welfare systems.

This person will work with research centers embedded within the School of Social Work at the University of Washington-Seattle, a nationally ranked research intensive post-secondary education organization, that provides uncommon opportunities for involvement in applied research that directly impacts and improves services. The evaluation team conducts research at the state and federal level designed to improve child development and family functioning, tests the efficacy/effectiveness of interventions, and translates findings into practice both within and outside of the University setting. The UW has close ties with state and federal organizations and other research institutions which provides multiple collaboration opportunities.
