Position Summary | The Facilities Department in the University of New Mexico College of University Libraries & Learning Sciences (CULLS) seeks a motivated and highly-engaged student employee interested in a challenging and dynamic working environment. Under direct supervision, the Library Assistant will work with University Libraries staff and student employees in a team environment to:
Successful applicants will have the opportunity for progressively independent work and increased responsibility within a collegial team environment. Benefits of this position include: receiving guidance and mentoring from library staff; and developing professional skills such as interpersonal communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving. CULLS student employees are employed on a term basis for the current academic year. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: • Currently enrolled at UNM for a minimum of 6 credit hours
during the normal school year. |

Preferred Qualifications | PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: • Ability to make independent decisions and judgements on routine procedural issues • Ability to lift at least 50 lbs. • Demonstrated ability to work creatively, collaboratively, and effectively. |
