Duke University’s Master of Engineering in AI for Product Innovation (AIPI) program in the Pratt School of Engineering and the Master in Interdisciplinary Data Science (MIDS) program jointly invite applications for a Non Regular Rank Adjunct Professor position. The major responsibility of this position will be to teach 1-2 graduate-level introductory data engineering / data science courses per year during the Fall semester. 

Ideal candidates would have significant prior experience in data engineering and data science in an industry setting. Candidates should have expertise in the Python data science ecosystem as well as big data and cloud technologies, preferably AWS, Azure and Google Cloud Platform.  They would also have a PhD or commensurate industry experience/expertise in a related discipline and ideally have prior teaching/training and course development experience.  This position is expected to be part time.
