Required Degree: Master's degree in Music   Preferred degree: PhD or DMA in Music

The required degree must be completed by the start date.

Experience:  Demonstrated music theory and/or other music teaching experience at the college level is required. 

Duties/Expectations: 

• Teach 1-3 sections of first and second-year music theory per semester
• Be available to teach classes on MWF, between 9AM - 1PM onsite and in person.
• Use provided textbooks/materials and follow established curriculum
• Ear training class teaching may be available for qualified applicants.
• Employment is mainly for fall/winter semesters, but there may occasionally be opportunities to teach a class in spring or summer term

Must reside in the State of Utah to be eligible for employment consideration.  Must be willing to teach the course(s) in person, on campus.
