Department Summary
The Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences at the UNT System College of Pharmacy is located at the University of North Texas Health Science Center (UNTHSC) in Fort Worth, ranked among the top 50 medical school for seven consecutive years, the UNTHSC is a 33-acre graduate school located in the city’s Cultural District with a local economic impact of $500 million annually. The UNT System College of Pharmacy is the first pharmacy school in Texas located on an academic health science campus.
Position Summary
Teach students enrolled in the MS in Drug Discovery Program in the following online course: PHAR 5317: Principles and Practice of Medicinal Chemistry. Examples of duties include session preparation and delivery, writing quiz and exam questions, corresponding with course director and students via email and Canvas. Additional duties also include participating as an interviewer during applicant interviews for the MS in Drug Discovery Program. Successful completion of an online, self-paced course(s) related to teaching online through the HSC Division of Academic Innovation will be required upon hire.

Minimum Qualifications
Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, or a related discipline from an accredited institution.
Preferred Qualifications
Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, or a related discipline from an accredited institution. Teaching experience in a College of Pharmacy setting. Research experience in a medicinal chemistry laboratory.
