Classification:  Adjunct Faculty; Spring term runs April 28—June 18, 2020; the course is typically offered Mondays through Thursdays, 9:00AM – 11:00AM.

Preferred Degree:  BA or BFA in film; MFA in film or film production is preferred

Experience:   1+ years university teaching experience preferred

Duties/Expectations

Adjunct Instructor will teach a beginning level media production course in the Media Arts program. Instructor must be an engaging teacher able to lead effective class discussions, have a strong knowledge of and experience with film and media production principles including: cinematography, screenwriting, and documentary production. The instructor must be able to give students constructive and concise feedback. Instructor is expected to be reasonably available for students for virtual consultations (in lieu of face-to-face office hours). Instructor will also have to lead the course via remote learning online. Instructor will consult with the current instructor of TMA 185 and will use the current syllabus and readings for the basis of the course. 
Spring term runs April 28—June 18, 2020; the course is typically offered Mondays through Thursdays, 9:00AM – 11:00AM.
