      Position Description:

      The University of Northern Iowa's Department of Applied Engineering & Technical Management seeks applicants for a part time postion as temporary Adjunct Instructor for the Construction Management Program, starting August 2024. Instruction needed to cover the Construction Law Course: construction contract principles, construction documents and plan sets, elements of law affecting constricution operations and on-site build operations. Knowledge of the construction industry and operations.

      Education Requirements:

      Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in Construction Management or Construction Engineering required.

      Required Qualifications:

      At least 10 years of US industrial experience in the area of construction engineering, construction management, or on-site operations; demonstrated effective communication skills; a commitment to engaged/applied learning; and a willingness to develop partnerships with local and national construction-related businesses and organizations required.
