Adjunct Job Announcement

Position: Adjunct Instructor for Animal Science

Location: Elbert Campus

Department: Division of Life Sciences & Public Safety

Reports to: Divisional Academic Dean

Salary/Benefits: Salary is commensurate with education and experience. No State of Georgia benefits.

Responsibilities: The successful applicant will be expected to implement course materials that support stated initiatives and use appropriate teaching techniques to provide students with the knowledge needed to achieve the learning outcomes for each agricultural science course offered.

Skills & Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Animal Science or Agriculture Education with extensive experience in livestock production.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree (or higher) in Animal Science.
  • Previous teaching experience at the post-secondary level.
  • Experience with online teaching platforms.
  • Willingness to teach on different campuses.
  • Strong communication skills and work ethic.
