Start date of this position:  September 4, 2024, Fall semester

Required Degree: Master's degree required, PhD or equivalent preferred. The required degree must be completed by the start date.

Experience:   University-level teaching and/or mentoring experience preferred. Significant experience working in student affairs in higher education, including but not limited to: student leadership, inclusion and belonging, experiential learning, and student engagement.

Duties/Expectations: This instructor will be responsible for teaching Student Development 214R Special Topics courses which provide students with internships and other experiential learning opportunities to develop leadership skills and implement programs among diverse populations in the community. Selected candidates will work to develop and supervise appropriate projects and placement settings for students serving within or through the BYU Office of Belonging.  May be taught during the daytime or evening on the Provo campus, at the BYU Salt Lake Center, or online through BYU Online.
