Resumes are currently being accepted for an adjunct faculty position to teach courses in our Special Education program. Individuals with expertise in teaching the following courses are encouraged to apply: Program Development and Instructional Delivery, Psychoeducational Assessment, Differentiated Learning Strategies for Classroom Teachers, Introduction to Education etc. Interested candidates are encouraged to apply immediately for the Fall 2019 semester. Resumes will be accepted on a continual basis.

• Course development
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

Master’s degree in education or a related field from an accredited institution. Demonstrate strong teaching skills. Experience in in working with individuals with disabilities, experience as a classroom teacher or university instructor in the related field, integrating technology in teaching in K-12 classrooms, ability to apply theory into practice.

Preferred Qualifications
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

Strong organizational skills, be able to function autonomously, communicate effectively, and cooperate and interact pleasantly with all contacts. Ability to present a positive, professional image of the Education Department and the University of Maryland Eastern Shore through conduct and appearance. Excellent communication skills to include fluency in English.
