Job Description

The Department of Sociology and Psychology, Texas A&M University-Kingsville invites applications for an adjunct instructor for the RELLIS campus in Bryan, Texas. The position is part-time, non-tenure track for Spring 2022, requiring in-person instruction of Cognitive Psychology for undergraduate majors. Additional course assignments may be offered in future semesters, depending on candidates’ teaching experience. Anticipated class sizes ranges from 15-25 students.

The TAMUK Psychology Program at RELLIS offers a Health Emphasis in an innovative setting. The RELLIS Academic Alliance is a collective of ten regional universities and Blinn College, affording students a seamless transition from Associate’s to Bachelor’s level coursework. Students following the Psychology (Health Emphasis) track complete a unique course of study, including neuropsychology, cross-cultural psychology, substance abuse, family therapy, and more.

Qualifications

Applicants should possess at least a Master’s degree and 18 graduate hours from an accredited institution or university for every field in which they will teach. Doctorate in related field preferred. Candidates should be committed to undergraduate teaching.
