Proposed Minimum Salary:
$1000 per credit hour (most classes are three credit hours)

Job Location: San Antonio, TX

This position is temporary, part-time faculty

Notes to Applicants:
This is a temporary, non-tenure-track, part-time position requiring teaching responsibilities. Applicants should submit the following documents for review:

  • A statement of purpose including a biography, and a teaching a philosophy.

Required Education:

  • M.A., M.S. or doctorate in psychology to include Doctor of Psychology as well as Ph.D.s

Required Experience:

  • The Department of Science and Mathematics, in the College of Arts and Sciences, seeks applications from qualified candidates for a part-time non-tenure track position in psychology, specialization is open. The College seeks excellence in instruction.

  • College teaching experience

Required Special Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others.
  • Strong self-discipline and ability to work independently.
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills.
  • Ability to interact with students at both undergraduate students and faculty.

Job Responsibilities

  • Teach lower-division lecture courses in psychology (M.S. qualified)
  • Teach upper-division lecture courses in psychology (Ph.D. qualified)
