Job Description

Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University's Worldwide campus is currently hiring adjunct faculty to teach AVMG 605 – Airport Planning and Development.

Course Description

This course underscores the multifaceted nature of airport development, incorporating strategic, environmental, and operational considerations. The master planning process, a blueprint for long-term airport growth, will be thoroughly examined. Students will also delve into the environmental impact assessments, understanding the ecological responsibilities of modern airports, and stakeholder engagement strategies vital for garnering community and industry support.

Please note that ERAU policy requires that all adjuncts be physically located within the United States while working for the University, including during training. Presently, we are able to support work for new adjuncts from all U.S. states except California.  ERAU does not support work from international locations with some limited exceptions for individuals who are residing and working from U.S. military bases.


Qualifications

Terminal Degree From List and Relevant Experience/Industry Credential (basic self-report documentation required). Graduate Degree from List and Relevant Experience/Industry Credential (detailed and verifiable documentation required and Program Coordinator approval). 5 Years (or more) Airport Management/Leadership Experience, 3 Years (or more) Airport Management/Leadership Experience AND one of the below:
Airport Management/Leadership Industry Certificate (IATA, AEEE, ACI)

OR Certified Land Planner or Similar Certificate

Degrees Within the Teaching Discipline:

Any Business Degree

Management

Leadership/Organizational Behavior

Aviation/Aerospace/Aeronautical Science

Operations Management

Public Administration
