Adjunct Faculty-Nursing

Franklin University, located in Columbus, Ohio, is seeking passionate part-time adjunct nursing faculty to teach across our online undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral programs. 

This includes our rapidly growing and accredited RN-BSN program beginning Summer or Fall.  This progressive program is flexible, can be completed in as little as 12 months and is designed to help nurses advance their careers and prepare for graduate coursework while increasing their clinical and leadership competencies.   

We also seek qualified nurses to teach within one of our advanced nurse practitioner tracks at the Master’s and Doctoral levels.  (Adult-Gerontology Primary Care, Family Nurse Practitioner, and Psychiatric Mental Health). Additional MSN tracks include leadership, educator, and generalist. 

Doctorally qualified faculty are sought for our DNP core and project courses as well as doctoral faculty and scholarly project advisors. 

Requirements for these positions include a minimum of a master’s degree in nursing with a focus on nursing education and at least 3 years of experience as a registered nurse with a current, unencumbered nursing license in the state of residence.  A doctorate in nursing or related field with at least 2 years practice experience in nursing education at the graduate level is preferred for these positions (required for the DNP).  Prior online teaching experience is strongly preferred as is someone with Certified Nurse Educator (CNE) or certification in a nursing specialty or as an advanced practice nurse.  Excellent teaching evaluations and previous teaching experience are also required.  Applicants must include a cover letter along with their application materials in order to receive consideration for these positions.
