Details

The Irvine Campus for the University of Massachusetts Global is need of an Adjunct Faculty whom specializes in English Literature. In particular, the candidate must have strong instructional skills and experience with the following course that the School of Arts and Sciences are filling for the 2023 Spring term.

ENGU 104- Writing about Literature

Develops a student’s critical thinking, reading, and writing skills as they apply to the analysis of fiction, poetry, drama, and creative non-fiction. The readings for the course reflect the diversity of writers and perspectives. Through a variety of essays, students will demonstrate their understanding of a variety of literary devices and their ability to write persuasively about literature. Students will increase their understanding of the world and its people.

Qualifications/Degrees Required

Graduate Degree in English/Literature, journalism, or MFA (fiction, poetry, or non-fiction)
