Job Description

The Department of Counseling, Health & Kinesiology is currently seeking applicants for nontenure track adjunct faculty positions in our graduate counseling program.

Responsibilities:

  • Teaching core and elective graduate courses.

  • Quality performance will be expected in teaching.

  • Prepare and teach the assigned class following syllabus guidelines.

  • Maintain appropriate records, assign earned grades, report needed data to the department, and complete all necessary development assessment information.

  • Work hours depend on course schedule and teaching assignments may include late afternoon and evening courses.

Required Education and Experience:

  • Ph.D. in Counseling, Counselor Education and Supervision, or a related educational field.

  • 18 graduate hours in each field in which the candidate will teach.

  • Demonstrated potential for teaching excellence.

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Experience with educational technology.

  • Teaching and supervisory experience.
