Job Overview

The University of Cincinnati’s Department of Rehabilitation, Exercise, & Nutrition Sciences is searching for a term adjunct faculty to provide connection and community building touchpoints within the Pre-Pharmacy subplan in the Bachelor’s in Health Sciences program.


Essential Functions

Responsibilities of the position include the creation of community and connection for pre-professional students (Canvas community page or other); connection with profession specific to subplan; facilitation of community so student feels belonging; education of students regarding their path (e.g. how to apply to grad programs) and their profession; publishing events and opportunities to students; and maintaining communication with the health sciences program faculty.

Minimum Requirements
  • Candidates with a Master’s or other terminal degree.
  • Minimum of two years of teaching experience.
  • Candidates must have computer and internet literacy and be comfortable with online instructional methods.

Additional Qualifications Considered
  • Doctoral degree in an appropriate health science area is preferred.
  • For certain courses, a minimum of two years of teaching in a clinical environment will be considered.
