Job Description:

Adjunct Instructors Needed for Fall 2024:

Subject area: Computer Science

The Computer Science department provides students with the skills they need to obtain entry-level positions in computer science and/or programming. Courses offered also prepare students in Computer Science and Engineering fields for transfer to four-year colleges and universities.

Courses offered in computer science include:

  • CSC 225 Advanced Python Programming
  • CSC-236 SQL Programming
  • CSC 237 C++ Programming
  • CSC 239 JAVA Programming
  • CSC 240 Database Programming
  • CSC 285 Advanced JAVA
  • CSC 287 OOPL for Programmers

Requirements:

  • Master's Degree or higher in Computer Science or a closely related STEM field. A Master's degree and significant, related, work experience or skills in various programming languages will also be considered.
  • Experience teaching Computer Science at the college level; community college teaching preferred.
  • Proven ability to work with diverse faculty, staff and student populations


Additional Information:

Salary: $1,397.00 per lecture credit
