Job Summary
East Tennessee State University College of Nursing is seeking applicants for adjunct positions to teach didactic and clinical courses beginning in May, August, and January.
Positions are contingent upon sufficient funding.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Required Qualifications
  • Must hold an earned PhD or DNP for didactic role or MSN for clinical practice role.
  • Active unencumbered APRN and RN licensure recognized in Tennessee must be obtained before teaching.
  • Proof of Tennessee or Compact State License will be required at time of employment.
  • Current national certification as a nurse practitioner within the population focus for teaching area.
  • Minimum of one year current clinical experience as a board certified advanced practice nurse.
Preferred Qualifications
Expertise is especially needed in Pediatrics and Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner concentrations.
Salary Master's Degree and above $900 per credit hour; and $1,000 per credit hours for 10 or more credits per semester.
