Job Description:
The Business Administration Department at the Rubel School of Business at Bellarmine University invites applications for a part-time (one semester) Analytics Instructor for applied-data-analytics classes. This position is available now and is for the Spring 2024 semester. The course is in person, alternative Saturday's 8:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
The class dates are as follows: Jan.6, Jan.20, Feb.3, Feb.17, Mar.09, Mar.23, Apr.06, Apr.20.
Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Business, Business Analytics, Decision Theory or closely related disciplines (18 hours minimum graduate coursework).
- Three years' related work experience and/or course related applied projects.
- Strong commitment to excellence in teaching.
- Commitment to student success, and inclusive excellence.
- Must be able to translate complex quantitative methods for general audiences
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Experience in applications of operations research, working knowledge of DBMS and SQL programming, math aptitude, and statistics in an industrial/applied environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in data analytics, database administration, statistics, management information systems, mathematics, or related field from a regionally-accredited institution
- Master's degree and at least five years' relevant industry experience or PhD in Business Information Systems
