Position Summary:

The Applied Behavior Analysis Department at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology is seeking several highly qualified adjunct instructors to join our diverse faculty at our Chicago Campus in our M.S. Applied Behavior Analysis and Ph.D. Applied Behavior Analysis programs.

We offer a wide range of coursework in ABA, including a Verified Course Sequence (VCS) that meets requirements for the BACB® 5th edition Task List. 

Courses run 15 weeks during the Spring and Fall semesters, and 8 weeks during the Summer semester. Courses are taught in two modalities at the Chicago campus:

  • Weekly - Monday through Thursday, morning, early afternoon, or evening each week.
  • Executive-style blended – meeting one day (Saturday or Sunday) per month with online assignments and brief remote meetings in between.

Principal Duties:

Engage students in ABA curriculum through discussion and assignments as outlined in the course syllabi. Provide students substantive feedback and respond to student questions and concerns in a timely manner. Maintain communication with department administration, faculty, and students.

Position Qualifications:

  • BCBA or BCBA-D required
  • Doctoral degree preferred
  • Teaching experience (3+ years preferred)
  • Strong commitment to academic excellence, research, community service, and diversity
  • Exemplary professional experience

Compensation & Benefits

This opportunity is budgeted at $1,124-1,540 per credit and may vary per course with student enrollment. Additional compensation factors may impact total compensation.
