The College of Aeronautics and Engineering is seeking qualified individuals who may be interested in working as adjunct faculty members in support of its programs.

The College of Aeronautics and Engineering is seeking qualified individuals who may be interested in working as adjunct faculty members in support of the following programs:
Additionally, faculty are needed to support the following minors:
The following programs are accredited by the Aviation Accreditation Board International (AABI): AEST, ATAM, AVMN, PROP. The remaining two programs will be seeking AABI accreditation during the next affirmation cycle. |
Examples of Duties: |

Adjunct faculty are expected to:
Courses are offered on a semester basis, fall (mid-August through mid-December), spring (mid-January through mid-May) and summer (several sessions). Classes are typically offered Monday through Friday between the hours of 7:45 am and 10:00 pm and run 1-2 days a week. The schedule of any class taught by an adjunct faculty member in the College of Aeronautics and Engineering will be coordinated with student schedules and the adjunct faculty’s availability, and on a case-by-case basis. |

Working Conditions / Physical Requirements: |
Light work-Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently to move objects. Incumbent must be able to communicate with others. Incumbent may be required to travel from building to building frequently and off campus occasionally. |
