Job Summary

The Clinical Coordinator of the MS in Nutrition and Dietetics is a part-time (15-18 hours per week) position responsible for the day-to-day coordination of the ACEND-accredited Future Graduate model program. The position reports to the Program Director and works collaboratively with the department faculty and administrative staff.

Essential Functions

  • Develop and distribute schedules for site assignments and rotations for each quarter.
  • Initiate and monitor clinical compliance of students in collaboration with CNHP Clinical Compliance Coordinator.
  • Serve as point of contact for students and preceptors to trouble-shoot day-to-day problems.
  • Monitor student achievement of required competencies using AEFIS and distribute quarterly reports to students.
  • Initiate, modify and monitor affiliation agreements in collaboration with CNHP Clinical Site Development and Contract Manager.
  • Maintain records of preceptor credentials, licenses, and competency-based education training.
  • Communicate regularly with clinical sites to maintain positive relationship and recruit new clinical sites/preceptors as needed.
  • Update competency and performance indicator mapping in AEFIS in collaboration with CNHP Data Operations Analyst and ensure assignments are linked in Blackboard.
  • Conduct site and preceptor evaluations using Qualtrics at the end of each quarter.
  • Participate in student orientation and update Student Handbook annually.
  • Participate in recruiting events and meet with prospective students to review prerequisites and application process.

Required Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Nutrition or related field
  • 2+ years of relevant experience
  • Advanced degree in Nutrition
  • Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN)
  • Member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics
  • Active in Philadelphia area dietetic community
