Position Summary

SFC Enterprises, Inc. is engaged in a search for an Accounts Payable Specialist. Our primary focus is on commercial and residential construction and property management.


 


 



Job Responsibilities

-Accounts payable coding, processing and check cutting
-Accounts receivable coding, processing and payment application
-Account and Bank reconciliations
-Credit card reconciliations
-Assist in month end and year end close process
-CAM and RET Reconciliations
-Assist with the year-end audit process by preparing supporting documents
-Maintain Contractors’ Certificate of Insurance (COI), W9 forms, and business licenses
-Match invoices and payment requisitions to Construction Contracts
-Project job cost reports
-Maintain in-house filing system
-Other duties & special projects as assigned



Qualifications

-Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
-Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, while ensuring accuracy
-Ability to make decisions, problem solve and work independently
-Ability to maintain organized records and good documentation skills
-Knowledge of Yardi preferred, not required
-Familiarity with AIA contracting, a plus
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office, ability to create basic Excel spreadsheets
-Demonstrated knowledge of real estate accounting principles and practices
