Job Description:

This position, part of the Travel and PCard team within the CFO Division, assists departments and travelers in the UF GO (Travel and PCard System). The incumbent provides exceptional customer support for all stages of travel, including travel requests, expense reports, and employee reimbursements, to ensure compliance with federal, sponsor, State of Florida, and university policies. This position ensures accuracy and effectiveness of travel operations, including travel associate reviews of travel transactions.

Examples of Work (These are not all inclusive, nor do they cover the full extent of the duties performed):

  • Manages the Salesforce customer service and ticketing system. Ensures team is providing timely responses to incoming questions/voicemails and collaborates with Travel department managers on developing a knowledge base. Fosters a customer-service based environment and evaluates business processes for effectiveness in delivering quality customer service to stakeholders. Participates as a trainer in the HR Fiscal Onboarding Classes.
  • Reviews and ensures audit rules and reports are appropriately identifying issues of non-compliance. Resolves exceptions in travel audits and employee reimbursement issues. Ensures that the travel associate reviews are designed to address federal, sponsor, state and University policies and procedures.
  • Provides leadership for direct reports including effective performance management, identification of training needs and professional development plans. Creates an innovative and continuous improvement focused environment by seeking out and encouraging ideas for process change. Actively supports and contributes to the CFO commitment to diversity and inclusiveness. In the absence of the immediate supervisor, provides leadership and direction to Travel Associate staff members.
Expected Salary:

$48,000 - $62,500 annually; commensurate with education and experience. 

Minimum Requirements:

A bachelor's degree in an appropriate area of specialization and one year of appropriate experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

This position should be proficient in Microsoft Office

Experience with University of Florida operations is preferred.
Ability to work and maintain effective working relationships with others

Understand, interpret, and apply applicable rules, regulations, policies and procedures

Effectively communicate in writing and orally

Complete work according to scheduled deadlines

Work with limited supervision

Utilize problem solving techniques and to work independently.
