Accountancy Department - Tenure Track - Assistant Professor - Spring 2020

The College of Business Administration and Information Sciences (COBAIS) is currently seeking applicants for an assistant professor in the following areas: income taxation at the undergraduate and graduate levels, as well as introductory financial and managerial accounting.

Positions are contingent on the availability of funding.

Our teaching facilities currently allow for face-to-face, ITV, and online classes. We believe in the applied method of teaching, using the profession’s best practices throughout our curriculum. Our teaching load is four courses per semester.

Terminal degree or ABD with significant progress on dissertation, from a regionally accredited institution and successful completion of interview.

Significant background in Accounting: Research, publication and excellent teaching and service records.

Primary teaching responsibilities may be in Financial Accounting, Intermediate Accounting, Master Level Financial Accounting and possibly International Accounting.

Applicants must complete a successful on campus interview. Prior to employment the successful candidate will be required to obtain and submit current clearances from the Pennsylvania Department of Human Services, Pennsylvania State Police and the FBI.
