Job Summary
An Account Executive of Ticket Sales whose main responsibility is to call
on potential customers for season and group ticket sales for Southern Miss
sports events in order to meet individual and department-wide ticket and
revenue goals. Also assists with ticket operations duties for select sports and
Eagle Club efforts to increase memberships and promote donations.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in management, sport management, business, marketing, or other related field. One to two years related experience and/or training in a related field.

- Ability to communicate and interact effectively with members of the public;
- Ability to establish and maintain a good rapport with university faculty and staff, students, and the general public;
- Ability to exercise sound judgment in making critical decisions;
- Ability to develop objectives, evaluate effectiveness, and assess needs;

- Skill in managing one’s own time and the time of others;
- Skill in completing assignments accurately and with attention to detail;
- Ability to establish goals and objectives;
- Skill in service orientation by actively looking for ways to help people;
- Ability to provide support for student development with a demonstrable concern for students;
- Ability to work effectively and patiently with students.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with higher education institution preferred.
