Access Informatics, Business Intelligence Analyst - Capacity Management

The Access Informatics, Business Intelligence Analyst will gather, clean, and analyze data, finding patterns or seeing areas in the data that signal a potential for improvement in business practices.  Includes visualizing data in graphs and charts, preparing reports and presenting in front of other teams or customers. Will make recommendations to improve or grow the business based on findings.

Ambulatory Access Services includes but is not limited to, medical record and encounter creation, registration, appointment scheduling, insurance verification, pre-authorization, communication of patient responsibility, and other pre-arrival activities in both an ambulatory and hospital setting.

This position is 100% remote

Position Requirements:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Required:  Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or a minimum of three (3) years directly related experience.
Preferred:  Experience in healthcare; moderate level expertise in computer applications including Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio and familiarity with Tableau Business Intelligence and Analytics software.  

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Gathers business intelligence from a variety of sources including company data, industry and field reports, public information, or purchased sources.
• Assesses market strategies by analyzing related products, markets, or trends.
• Uses business intelligence data and tools to identify and monitor current and potential customers.
• Compiles business intelligence or trends to support actionable recommendations.
• Maintains current knowledge of industry and business trends through communication with professional organizations, customers, competitors, and other informed individuals.
• Summarizes data reports for review by executives, managers, clients, and stakeholders.
• Performs other related duties as assigned
