This one year position actively engages with university students and their families, as well as university faculty and staff. The position offers the right candidate the opportunity to engage with a dynamic team of higher education professionals dedicated to ensuring equal access and equal opportunity for university students with a diagnosis that impacts that PNW experience.

Responsibilities include academic coaching, compensatory strategy interventions, consultation, skills training, de-escalation, and redirection.  They also include proctoring accommodated assessments, reviewing documentation, conducting student intake meetings, and engaging in an interactive process to determine the appropriate supports to ensure equal access and equal opportunity for the student.

Depending on training, skill, and experience the right candidate may also provide some therapy for the Counseling Center allowing the practical application of their psychological studies in a fast paced multifaceted collegiate team environment. This position includes working primarily at the Disability Access Center with the potential for some time at the Counseling Center. 

Maintain complete, accurate and timely records of all clinical work and any other necessary documentation.
