Required Qualifications & Experience : Incumbent must possess: bachelor’s degree in instructional design, instructional technology, computer science, information systems, educational technology, communications, or related fields, or similar certified coursework in applicable fields of study; two years of related job experience; proficiency using learning management systems and other academic technology tools (e.g., Canvas, Panopto, Zoom, Respondus Test Bank, Turnitin); strong proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite, Outlook, Teams and other web conferencing tools; and excellent organizational and time management skills. Incumbent must have the ability to: analyze and troubleshoot hardware and software; develop, edit, and maintain websites, including meeting applicable web accessibility requirements; work independently with minimal supervision; and work in a responsive team environment using excellent written and oral communication skills. Incumbent must demonstrate an interest or ability in working in a multicultural/multiethnic environment. A background check (including a criminal records check) must be completed satisfactorily before any candidate can be offered a position with the CSU. Failure to satisfactorily complete the background check may affect the application status of applicants or continued employment of current CSU employees who may apply for the position.
