SCHEDULE: Office hours are primarily weekdays, but responsibilities may occasionally require additional hours and flexibility
POSITION DESCRIPTION:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Provide administrative support for the Dean of CEAS and Chair of Education
  • Coordination of office duties for the School of Education,
  • Receptionist Duties (such as greeting students, answering phones, emails, organizing files etc.)
  • Some accounting responsibilities (preparing check requests, tracking accounts, credit card charges, and budgets).
  • Submit textbook requests for courses
  • Serving as the placement coordinator for the Reading Buddies program
  • Assist with planning and coordinating departmental functions and activities.
  • Facilitating the hiring process of adjuncts and student workers
  • Supervision of student workers
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Five or more years of admin experience
  • Excellent computer skills in Microsoft
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; some college required.
