Department Summary
The Academic Program Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the assigned academic programs. Ensures that the necessary standards are met and maintained at all times.
Position Overview
The Academic Program Coordinator provides support and leadership in the Office of Student Success for doctorate of pharmacy (PharmD) students in their introductory and advanced pharmacy practice experiences and full educational journey. The Academic Program Coordinator is responsible for supporting student activities and collaborating closely with faculty, staff, and administrators, and facilitating participation in university functions. Additionally, the Academic Program Coordinator is involved in planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of the pharmacy program.

Bachelor’s degree and two (2) years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Job Duties


o
• Provides support to pharmacy students between various stakeholders, including team members, management, and external partners
• Provides support and information to students and leadership on a variety of issues related experiential and didactic educational experiences
• Ensures students are in compliance with Federal, State and Local laws, regulations, and/or accreditation standards in preparation for rotations and communicates compliance in a timely manner with internal and external stakeholders
• Maintains accurate and up-to-date documentation related to program activities and outcomes
• Collects data with educational technology/tools as assigned in curricular, co­ curricular or assessment activities. Supports and assists with the educational technologies used in the classrooms and/or on clinical rotations
• Implements and monitors evaluation processes to assess program effectiveness
• Prepares regular progress reports for management and other stakeholders
• Assists with the planning and execution of events and educational activities
• Establishes positive/supportive relationships with clinical education and/or coordinators in regards to onboarding requirements
• Actively meets and establishes positive/supportive relationships with pharmacy students
• Completes special projects and duties as assigned
