The University of Illinois College of Medicine Peoria seeks an Academic Obstetrician and Gynecologist. This full-time position at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor is ideal for individuals interested in clinical practice, teaching, scholarship, including opportunities for academic leadership.

Position Summary
Provide direct patient care in obstetrics and gynecology. Teach, train, mentor, and precept residents and medical students in the context of clinical obstetrics and gynecology.
Duties & Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in obstetrics and gynecology.
• Teach, train, mentor, and precept residents and medical students in the context of clinical obstetrics and gynecology.
• Develop and lead scholarly activity in women's health.
• Prepare and deliver didactic presentations to residents and medical students.

Minimum Qualifications

• MD or DO.
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Licensed or eligible for licensure in the State of Illinois.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with mentoring and training residents and medical students.
• Interest in high-risk patient management.
• Demonstrated ability to produce scholarly activity.
• Interest in academic leadership.
