Posting Summary
The Center for Dermatology in the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, in conjunction with Rutgers Health and RWJBarnabas Health, invites applications for a faculty position at the Assistant Professor or Associate Professor level. Dermatologists/Dermatopathologists in the Center are responsible for performance of general dermatology and dermatopathology services at our World’s Fair Drive location in Somerset, NJ as well as consultative services at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital – the school’s 650 bed tertiary care core teaching hospital in New Brunswick, NJ, the Bristol Meyers Squibb Children’s Hospital, and the Cancer Institute of New Jersey. The successful candidate will be a member of the Dermatology team, performing patient care duties as a clinical dermatologist and dermatopathologist. The successful candidate will also be an active participant in the educational programs of the Department including teaching medical students and residents and will be expected to engage in productive research activities.

Qualifications


Minimum Education and Experience
An MD, DO, or MBBS is required along with board certification in Dermatology and Dermatopathology. Academic rank and compensation will be commensurate with the candidate’s qualifications and academic experience. Women and diverse candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.

Immunization Requirements


Under Policy 60.1.35 Immunization Policy for Rutgers Employees and Prospective Employees , Rutgers University requires all prospective employees to provide proof that they are vaccinated against COVID-19 prior to commencement of employment, unless the University has granted the individual a medical or religious exemption. Rutgers University may require certain prospective employees to receive an updated (bivalent) vaccine dose.
