Position Summary
The Department of Surgery, Division of General Surgery at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, NE is seeking a colon and rectal surgeon to be an integral part of our faculty.   This full time opportunity is ideal for a surgeon to join a collegial team that is passionate about providing clinically excellent and compassionate care to all patients.  
 
The successful candidate will join our team in the Division of General Surgery with nine faculty members and six advanced practitioners between general and bariatric surgery to provide clinical services at Nebraska Medicine.     
 
This opportunity offers a highly competitive benefits package and rank and salary commensurate with qualifications. The ideal candidate must be an MD/DO (or equivalent degree), board certified or board eligible colorectal surgeon who has completed fellowship or has training in colon and rectal surgery.  Responsibilities will include clinical care, education and research.  Interested candidates should also have a strong interest in teaching residents and medical students.
