Data Management Analyst II
35% Organize, analyze, and visualize large amounts of ecological data, including spatial and remotely sensed data. Modify existing analytical approaches and data protocols as needed.
35% Plan and execute the analysis of data related to newly forming questions from the group. Assist in the statistical analysis of ecological data, as determined by the needs of the research group.
20% Provide assistance and guidance to members of the research group on existing research projects. Work Collaboratively with undergraduates, graduate students and postdocs in the group and from related projects.
10% Learn new analytical tools and software as needed.
Minimum $ 40,000.00
Master’s degree in an appropriate area; or a bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area and two years of relevant experience.
Experience with R or Python, Git, and/or PostgreSQL/PostGIS.

Must be able to communicate effectively both in person and in writing. Must possess strong interpersonal skills and be able to communicate clearly and with multiple laboratory members including various faculty, staff and students.
All data should be kept confidential, incumbent is responsible for upholding the rules and regulations concerning disclosure of information according to University regulations.
Must be able to obtain and maintain US government security clearances for work with select agents.
