Job Description:

Job Duties:

  • Screen and characterize small molecules made in the laboratory using various techniques including western blotting and other biochemical/biophysical assays.
  • As part of the compounds screening and characterization process, the Research Associate/Scientist will also be responsible for culturing the cells, expressing and purifying proteins, following the safety and waste management guidelines, and performing routine lab maintenance and daily lab duties.

Expected Salary:

$19.16 to $23.95 per hour

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in pharmacology, molecular biology, biochemistry, chemical biology, medicinal chemistry or have track-record of experience in the related fields holding Bachelor's or higher degree.  

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master degree in pharmacology, molecular biology, biochemistry, chemical biology, medicinal chemistry or have track-record of experience in the related fields holding Master or higher degree.
  • Self-motivation and independence 
  • Strong written and oral communication skills and collaborative
  • Ability to multi-task with multiple projects and keeping pace in a dynamic research environment
