Student Assistant, Clerical & Administrative

The University of Florida Area Health Education Program (AHEC) is seeking candidates for part-time opportunity involving data entry. You will have the opportunity to conducts a daily review of statewide S-Fax referrals for tobacco cessation and enter the referral information into the Tobacco Free Florida AHEC Cessation Tracking (TFFACT) system. You may also provide technical assistance to statewide users at other Florida AHEC Programs and Centers.

Summer Schedule: This opportunity will be for 11 weeks starting May 31st. The position will be for up to 20 hours per week (Friday - Thursday) and the work days and hours are flexible within the hours of 8:30am - 5:00pm, Monday - Friday.

Location: This position will be located at the University of Florida East Campus (2046 NE Waldo Rd, Gainesville, FL 32609). There is ample parking and a bus route that drops off at East Campus' entrance. 

$13.00 to $15.00 per hour 

This position is open to all University of Florida degree-seeking students registered at least half-time this summer or were registered at least half time in the spring and will be again in the fall, who are eligible to work on campus and must maintain a minimum 2.0 grade point average. Data entry experience.

The ideal candidate:

• Comfortable learning new processes and programs. 
• Ability to work independently and perform repetitious tasks. 
• Experience inputting a high volume of data into a database/spreadsheet.
