Large Animal Hospital Client Liaison I/II (CARE)

As a result of our continued commitment to providing the highest level of veterinary care, the University of Florida, Large Animal Hospital is expanding its team of full-time client service professionals. We are looking for motivated, well-organized and caring individuals with experience handling horses (primarily) but we also see small ruminants, camelids, bovine and occasionally exotic patients.
As an academic teaching hospital, we are fortunate to have exceptional facilities for providing patient care and access to the latest innovations in veterinary healthcare including Sports Medicine, advanced imaging, 3D assisted surgical procedures, Ophthalmology, Reproduction, Internal Medicine Services and Neonatal Intensive Care, just to name a few.

The UF Large Animal Hospital is located on the Veterinary College campus at the University of Florida in Gainesville, Fl. This is a full-time, benefited position and is considered essential personnel. This position requires a post offer health assessment.

$17 - $21 / commensurate with experience

LA Client Liaison 1
High school diploma or equivalent and two years of experience loading, unloading, restraining, handling horses or one year of experience loading, unloading, restraining, and handling in a veterinary academic teaching hospital.
LA Client Liaison 2
High school diploma or equivalent and four years of experience loading, unloading, restraining and handling horses or two years of experience loading, unloading, restraining, and handling horses in a veterinary academic teaching hospital.

• Minimum qualifications as listed above, experience within the past 2 years
• More than two years relevant work experience handling and restraining horses at an advanced level
• Previous experience working in a Client Service position in a relevant field.
