East Stroudsburg University’s Department of History and Geography is looking for Instructor(s) to teach introductory courses in US and World History. Located in the beautiful Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania, ESU’s proximity to New York City and Philadelphia provides convenient access to internships, careers and social activities. Just minutes from campus are the country’s largest water parks, scenic Delaware Water Gap Recreation Area, Appalachian Trail, and other opportunities for recreational fun.
The Department of History and Geography at East Stroudsburg
University is establishing a three-year, temporary faculty teaching pool.
Candidates must be able to teach one or more of the following: US History to
1877, US History since 1877, World History to 1500 and World History since 1800. The successful candidate will be an
active member of the department and will work to develop and mentor students.
Applications on hand will be used to fill vacancies as needed.
ESU's History and Geography Department offers several
programs of study that lead to a Bachelor of Arts degree. The program offers a comprehensive foundation of
courses and an opportunity for students to select elective courses within
specific areas of History to prepare students to excel in their career
and life.
