East Stroudsburg University’s Department of Exercise Science is looking for adjunct faculty. Located in the beautiful Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania, ESU’s proximity to New York City and Philadelphia provides convenient access to professional markets, careers, and social activities. Just minutes from campus are the country’s largest water parks, scenic Delaware Water Gap Recreation Area, Appalachian Trail, and other opportunities for recreational fun.
The Department of Exercise Science offers a breadth of degrees and
credentials to prepare the contemporary professional. State-of-the-art laboratories and strong
community clinical partners provide students with practical experience
necessary to compete in the competitive job market and admission into
professional schools (DPT, OT, PA). All faculty are highly engaged within the
discipline and have active research agendas in which to include students.
ESU's Department of Exercise Science offers a BS in Exercise
Science, MS in Clinical Exercise Physiology, MS in Exercise Science, and
Doctorate of Health Sciences. In addition, a Nutrition Certificate, Sport
Performance Coaching Certificate and Health Coaching Minor are available to
enhance the professional preparation of the students.
Qualifications
- MUST HAVE a minimum of a MS in Exercise Science or related discipline, teaching experience in laboratory settings (human performance and biomechanics), and ability to sit for one of the NCCA-accredited credentials within the discipline.
