Carnegie Mellon University's Department of Physics is seeking a Staff Adjunct Instructor for the Physics Department's Summer Session. This is a temporary full-time summer staff appointment.
The candidate will teach:
Summer I: 33-141 Physics II for Engineering and Physics Students
Summer II: 33-142 Physics II for Engineering Students
Qualifications: Master's degree or Ph.D. in Physics required; 3-5 years of experience in classroom lecturing is preferred with a strong preference for those familiar with coursework at Carnegie Mellon University as the courses taught must conform to the content and standards of classes at our institution as these classes are often prerequisites for courses later in the student's degree program.
