2024 Whitehead Summer Research FellowsFull Job Description:
The Research Lab Assistant is responsible for carrying out experiments related to
current research projects in specific research labs, including maintaining cell lines
and cell culture suite; trouble-shooting and execution of laboratory protocols;
attending regular, weekly meetings with the PI to discuss research progress, results, and future experiments; and preparing and reviewing manuscripts resulting from research activities.
They will report directly to their Principle Investigators, who will determine the
needed activities for each week and assess proper and timely completion of duties.
