2024 eCities Project Intern

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The eCities Project Intern will work closely with iLabs leadership on the annual eCities project. Responsibilities may include: Coordinating the collection and analysis of publicly available data, supporting qualitative research efforts, creating reports and other project materials, and management of other daily aspects of the project. The intern may also generally assist with other iLabs research projects and administrative functions as needed. This position will begin in July 2024 and conclude in December 2024, with the possibility of extending the role based on project needs. The position requires a time commitment of approximately 20-30 hours per week. Job functions may be completed on campus and remotely.

Required Qualifications:

Candidate must be a current UM-Dearborn student with the proven ability to meet deadlines and multi-task with minimal supervision while being attentive to detail. The eCities project intern must operate at a professional level, be organized, and be able to communicate with clients and other project stakeholders as necessary.

Desired Qualifications:

A candidate with experience with client management, economic development policies and best practices, project management, quantitative & qualitative research techniques, and State and Federal government websites is preferred. Additionally, a candidate should be proficient in Microsoft suite programs such as Excel, Word, and Publisher.
