Research Assistant Scientist
|Job Description:||Duties and responsibilities include but not limited to: conduct research in nuclear safeguards with specific aim at radiation detection, nuclear materials characterization and electronics and algorithm development. Assist with research proposal development and writing. Project management; provide input and guidance to researchers (students) on various research projects, help lead discussions and assist with dissemination of research results and discoveries at conferences, in journal publications and via project presentations.|
$55,000 - $65,000 Commensurate with qualifications and experience
The applicant must possess a PhD in nuclear Engineering or relevant field, preferably one or more years of post-graduate research in nuclear safeguards or equivalent field.
