Job Description:

The University of Florida CS Everyone Center for Computer Science Education is accepting applications for a full time TEAMS staff member to manage efforts for Computer Science (CS) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) education microcredentials in collaboration with Center’s faculty. This is a time-limited, appointment for a minimum of 1 year pending funding.

Works collaboratively with CS Everyone faculty and staff to co-lead and manage efforts for CS and AI education microcredentials including:

Coordination and Evaluation:

• Collaborate with CS Everyone faculty and staff to ensure high quality program
offerings.
• Evaluate training effectiveness and achievement of learning outcomes and
recommend changes or adjustments as needed.

Management:

• Manage content experts on developing modules for the microcredentials.

Design & Development:

• Plan for development of online microcredentials in K-12 Computer Science and
Artificial Intelligence Education.
• Engage in research on the development and use of microcredentials as continuing
education, including design-based research within module development, impact of
microcredentials on teacher learning, and implementation of CS and AI within K-12
settings.
• Analyze and evaluate external training resources, including software packages,
instructional guides, and instructors, with consideration for cost, impact, and
suitability.
• Engage in grant writing to external funding agencies for continued program
development and sustainability.

Other duties as needed to support the CS Everyone Center.

Expected Salary:

$65,000.00

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in an appropriate area and four years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Qualifications: • Experience with writing and managing externally funded projects
• Ability to translate and communicate complex topics in a variety of forums, tailoring communications to effectively fit and influence the targeted audience
• Agility in making and following strategic decisions
• Ability to plan for long-term sustainability
